Win a Boat Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is the Hillarys Boat Show, presented by the Boating Industry Association of Western Australia (BIAWA) (“Promoter”).

2. Promotion Period
The competition commences at 12:00am AWST on 1 January 2026 and closes at 5:00pm AWST on Sunday 22 March 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

3. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. Employees, contractors, exhibitors and immediate family members of the Promoter and associated agencies directly connected with the administration of this promotion are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter
Entry into the promotion is automatic when an individual purchases a valid ticket online to attend the 2026 Hillarys Boat Show during the Promotion Period. Each valid ticket purchased online during the Promotion Period constitutes one (1) entry into the draw. Tickets purchased onsite at the event are not eligible for entry into the competition.

5. Prize
The prize is one (1) boat package as specified by the Promoter and displayed in promotional materials (“Prize”). The total prize details, specifications, inclusions and approximate retail value will be outlined on the Hillarys Boat Show website and/or promotional material. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

6. Prize Draw
The prize draw will take place at the Hillarys Boat Show on Sunday 22 March 2026. The draw will occur at approximately 4.00pm AWST. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

7. Winner Notification
The winner will be announced and notified on Sunday 22 March 2026. The winner will be contacted using the details provided at the time of ticket purchase and may also be announced at the event and/or on Hillarys Boat Show digital channels. The winner must provide proof of identity and eligibility upon request.

8. Prize Collection
The winner must claim the prize within 30 days of being notified unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:

  • Any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied by entrants

  • Technical issues or system failures that may affect entry

  • Loss, damage or injury suffered as a result of accepting the prize, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

10. Prize Conditions
Any costs associated with the prize not specifically stated as included (including registration, insurance, transport, fuel, or additional accessories) are the responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible for complying with all relevant laws, licensing and safety requirements associated with the use of the prize.

11. Privacy
By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the Promoter collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner. Entrants may also receive communications from the Promoter regarding future Hillarys Boat Show events and related promotions. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.

12. General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion if necessary.
